SPORT SPEED ACADEMY

With a background in Elite level sport and Education we developed SportSpeedAcademy through years of practical and scientific experience working with athletes of all ages.

SSA will deliver a positive training experience that improves speed of movement and strength of character.

With a background in Elite level sport and Education Adam Walker developed SportSpeedAcademy through years of practical and scientific experience working with athletes of all ages.
We educate participants on the benefits of a proven long-term developmental approach that will bring safer and stronger results. We believe our system is the right one for you or your child.SPEED FOR ALL AGES & ALL SPORTS
 
We base our training on 1 hour per week minimum at our Academy's, designed to fit in with the athlete’s current sports training sessions and other commitments.  Much like a school, we are constantly assessing, setting targets and challenging athletes with an SSA-assessment at the start/end of term, including a termly report and a full end of year report.  SSA believes we must train for the long term and not use the quick fix approach.
 
Every sportsperson from seven years old onto professional level, you can now improve your Sport Speed to advance and excel in any competitive sport!
 
We aim to work with their sports coach, not in place of, avoiding over training and looking at the athletes whole development. Much like a school, we are constantly assessing, setting targets and challenging athletes with an SSA-assessment at the start/end of term including a termly report and a full end of year report.

We are not magicians, we do not guarantee long lasting changes in one term. There is still value in learning basic techniques in a short period, but in order for motor programs to be properly engrained in the nervous system athletes need to have longer exposures to training. You can improve rapidly, however if the training exposure is stopped chances are the initial improvements will diminish and it will not be a long-term adaptation. This is why SSA believes we must train for the long term and not use the quick fix approach.
