Active Dynamic Conditioning is the foundation for a well-prepared athlete. Athletes will learn a scripted routine of the most effective ways to improve mobility, balance, stability, muscular/ cardiovascular endurance, and motor skill coordination. Your team will also learn the most economical way to warm-up for team workouts and games. is very important to perform correctly.

Maximum speed sprinting is often an overlooked component for most athletes, especially if there position doesn’t require much linear sprinting. But improving maximum speed will actually elevate an athletes overall quickness. At SSA we use the most learnable movement skill exercises that ensure every athlete to have breakthroughs with his or her speed.

Acceleration Training is the most important aspect of most sports, the SSA system lays out step by step how to maximize an athlete’s acceleration. Proper joint angles and ground force application is taught so that every athlete will understand how to continually develop and refine these newly learned skills throughout his or her career.

Change of Direction Training using balance with strength is a big part of enhancing an athletes sportspeed. The other major component is knowing how to position each joint to maximally apply force into the ground in the most effective direction. This is a skill that is acquired over time with practice. The athlete must be trained in a similar way to respond and change direction quickly.

 All athletes receive a SSA training manual and T-shirt:  

Travel cost may be added LEAVE SATISFIED WITH SPEED!if 10 miles outside RH10 1JY.

Prices can vary depending on the number of athletes.

Day CLINICs run:

10:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 8:00pm.

Day Camps can be broken down into 3 separate 1½ hour sessions FOR EVENINGS/MORNINGS.

SUMMER CAMP run:

1 - 4 WEEKS  JULY/AUGUST  1 - 3 DAYS a week.

I THOUGHT THAT THE COACH WAS GREAT, AS HE WAS ABLE TO TEACH US THE MANY METHODS FOR WARMING UP BEFORE TAKING PART IN ATHLETICS, AND THE DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF RUNNING IN A FRIENDLY APPROACH.

I WOULD LOVE TO JOIN THE SSA, I WOULD DEFINITLY RECOMMEND SSA TO ALL MY FRIENDS"

"I really enjoyed speedcamp, so much  I wish that I could Erin @ SPEED Clinicdo it more often at least once a week or at the weekends.  I was very tired afterwards that I fell asleep at 7.00pm and never woke until 10.ooam the next morning and I was still tired and sore.
 
The coach was very good at explaining what we had to do but as well as it being hard work it was fun too.  I can't wait until the Athletics (Olympics 2008) start so I can watch all the running on the TV and think I am there.
 
Speedcamp to me was the best thing I have done over the summer.  I can't wait until September.  I will be very rested as I am away to Italy tomorrow and don't come back until the day before speedcamp.  I will be even better this time.
